Gains comperehensive information about the main characters in the works of the Turkish opera and their musical structure.
Gains comprehensive information concerning the works and the lives of Turkish opera composers and their musical identities.

Aim(s) of Course : The history of the development of the Turkish opera, it is important periods and movements, characteristics of these currents, the recognition and analysis of major opera composers and works.

Course Contents : General review of the 1950s to the present day.
