Learning Outcomes of the Course : 1. Analyzes the elements of the person which is a factor in the socialization process.
2. Explais the causes of aggression and how it can be reduced.
3. Knows the factors that affect the altruistic (prosocial) behavior.
4. Know what affects interpersonal attraction.
5. Creates an awareness of loneliness and alienation; knows that loneliness and alienation are not totally negative.
6. Understands the relationship between culture and self development.
7. Associates the infromation she/he has gained in Social psychology course with issues of everyday life.

Aim(s) of Course : As a follow up to the Introduction to Social Psychology-I, the main objective of this course is to analyze the human behavior shaped by the effects of other people and the interpersonal relationships, and to have a better understanding of self and others by recognizing the implications of these in their daily life.

Course Contents : Interpersonal attraction, aggression, pro-social behavior and some other issues. However, the establishment of a link between social-psychological explanations of everyday life are addressed within the scope of this course.
