Aim(s) of Course |
: |
Students learn color and weave effects for weaving design and they study surfaces for woven fabrics. Designing fabrics by using striped, pier de poule and star effects in view of a selected theme. Students comprehend design process for woven fabric and how to use color and weave effects for fabrics such as apparel or home textile. |

Course Contents |
: |
Color and weave effects are taught. Students draw sketches in view of selected themes. After choosing a sketch for ultimate design, material, density, draft plans are prepared and weaving process is completed. |
