Learning Outcomes of the Course : Recognize the basic concepts of first aid and supplies.Gain skills and knowledge in emergency care, management, and the legal aspects .
Learn which vital signs should be considered when there is a problem in the systems by Intensifying and revising the information about the human body. Determine urgent priorities and make the patient´s physical diagnosis in emergency care.
Gain skills and knowledge of providing first aid and emergency care to a patient in need of basic and advanced life support , and reinforce knowledge through applications on the model .
Gain the knowledge and skill of first aid and emergency care for bleeding patients and / or those in shock.
Diagnose patients with impaired consciousness, and plan and implement appropriate care.
Have knowledge and skills in methods of first aid and emergency care for trauma patients.
Apply the best and the most suitable bandage methods for fractures, sprains and dislocations.
Have information about first aid and emergency care in case of exposure to radioactive substances, burns, frostbite, electrical shock, sun and heat stroke, and drowning.
Provide first aid / emergency care for poisoning, bites, stings, and foreign body aspiration.

Aim(s) of Course : Help students gain knowledge and skills in first aid and emergency care and ownership, public awareness, ability to perform triage, the best way to apply first aid and emergency care, and the ability to organize.

Course Contents : Help students learn basic concepts including emergency care besides care and first aid in disasters , and take emergency care of the victim together with the first attempt to help, to gain the theoretical and practical skills for the maintenance of homeostasis in the course and technical laboratory environment.

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : Carried out on the ground floor in the classroom setting.
