Aim(s) of Course : Students evaluate the status of malpractise, take the necessary precautions, ensure the safety of themselves and their patients. Students know necesseray legislations.

Course Contents : Malpractise: conceptual framework and definitions, patient rights, Health professionals´ rights, Patient safety, health professionals´ safety, defects and liability, legal responsibility of health professionals, case report,distinction of malpractise-complications, medical malpractise and risk management , criminal sanctions of malpractise,situations commonly encountered by nurses in malpractice, professional liability insurance, example cases and analysis.
