Learning Outcomes of the Course : Comprehend the importance of women’s health and explain basic concepts about gynecology and reproductive system.
Provide follow up care in prenatal, natal, postnatal period of the woman, provide fetus / newborn screening and follow-up, and nursing care.
Give health education and consultancy services on women´s reproductive health issues to women of all ages and every segment of the society
Comprehend the place and importance of scientific thinking methods in understanding and questioning life
Synthesize the information gained with theoretical knowledge gained in other courses, and uses effective problem solving skills in situations that require nursing care .
Apply nursing interventions to meet the care needs of women specific for all life stages
Explain the physiology of reproductive system and pregnancy.
Monitor scientific and technological developments in women´s health nursing,review literature, do research and analysis in this area.

Aim(s) of Course : To protect and promote women’s and her family’s well-being all through their lifespan by investigating the terms of maternal health and reproductive health, and to deliver care in cases of impairment of health with a holistic approach and to develop the necessary knowledge and skill for these.

Course Contents : This course includes issues related to healthy/ill women and their families, nursing care and reproductive health.

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : Theoretical Ground Floor Amphitheater Applications are in the hospital.
