Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learns about the differences between pre-civilized and civilized way of life.
Becomes aware of the effects of pre-civilized culture on current human behavior.
Learns the fact that although the primitive way of life lasted longer, civilized way of life has covered only the last five thousand years.
Learns the fact that the changes in economic, intellectual, and social structures led to civilized way of life.

Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to teach the cultural phases humans went through in the process of humanization and the conditions they created in forming a civilized way of life.

Course Contents : To determine how humans created their way of life which led to civilization throughout history. To understand the process of differentiation between primitive life and the economic, social, ideological structures leading to the formation of civilization. This course focuses on society in the historical integrity and gives a certain understanding of culture.
