This course aims to give the information and materials to be used in interior spaces in terms of technique and technology in order to achieve the utmost comfort and it also expects the students to produce their own designs. |

Definition of ´´material´´ in a general classification of micro-and macro-structures, the concept of materials in space design, the properties of materials that affect design, defining design-material relationship, construction materials: natural stone materials, clay materials, both natural and artificial wood, metal and metal alloy materials, synthetic-based materials, and finishing materials as binders, their definitions, history, production methods and their use, evaluation of samples. |
