Learning Outcomes of the Course : The studentswho pass the course successfully will learn that 1-the issue of protecting human rights cannot be solely identified as a national law subject, 2- there is a supranational human rights law which is superior to the national law and declares the standards abided by national law, 3-national law is not the last point in the right to legal remedies and there are also ways in both international and regional platforms.

Aim(s) of Course : The main aspect of the course is to teach Supranational Human Rights Law through related Human Rights instruments, monitoring mechanisms and procedures with the standards based on fundamental rights and freedoms.

Course Contents : The main subject of Human Rights Law is the technical legal analyses of various systems which aim to recognize, protect and develop human rights. By that, the current human rights standards are explained and the students are made to reach the information about these standards.
