Will be able to identfy problems when students are shaping new clay bodies that are designed.
Will be able to identfy problems when students are firing new clay bodies that are designed.
Will be able to give alternative solutions to problems.

Aim(s) of Course : To design new clay body using alternative raw material sources and plastic-non plastic natural raw materials. To teach them the skills necessary to design new clay body and the relationship between raw material-firing temperature by using alternative raw materials.

Course Contents : New clay body designs using inorganic solid waste of packaging, and inorganic solid waste of factory or mining industry. Colored clay body designs. Recycling waste materials will be converted into glazed or unglazed product.
