Learning Outcomes of the Course |

Having a knowledge about its occupational fields and structure of forensic sciences Learning legal arrangements and responsibilities of phsycians in professional practices. Having a knowledge about postmortem interval, postmortem changes and its mechanism. Making a decision whether a autopsy will do or not, having a knowledge the process of preparation of medicolegal autopsy and protection from infection. Performing postmortem autopsy dissection by itself and receving biological samples for forensic and medical analysis. Having a knowledge about evaluation of event, semptoms, orijin, mechanism and frequency of deaths occuring from acute hypoxia-anoxia. Having a knowledge about anaphylactic and sudden deaths, mother-infant deaths, deaths occuring under anesthesia. Identification of classification and distinction, mechanism, properties of the injuries. Learning the general approaches for violence and neglect, abuse, human rights abuse. Having a knowledge about legal capacity and criminal capacity. Connecting with forensic cases, taking the story, receiveing the biological samples by examination and arrengement of the records in accordance with the expectations of the legal system. Reporting the forensic records fairly. Learning to developed attitudes and behavior in assessment of the juridical cases in accordance with the expectations of the legal system.

The general approach to forensic cases, examination, sampling, learning the postmortem findings,acquiring proficiency in editing the report, legal regulations in professional practices and resposibility of the medical school graduates and the basic principles of case referral and consultation system are aimed. |
