Learning Outcomes of the Course : able to list the most common urologic diseases in age groups of adults and children, and distinguish the most important ones in terms of preventive medicine in our country
able to define the acute urological diseases and traumas and have information about how they should be approached to emergency in medical practitioner level.
able to list the urological cancers and define their clinical signs and diagnostic features.
the approach to stone disease in the age group of children and adults especially in our region.
able to describe the common illnesses in elderly such as enlarged prostate and define the approaches to these diseases.
able to define the approach to infections that treatment can be made on urinary tract infections and infections in primary health care.
able to recognize the congenital anomalies of the urogenital system in children and refer these patients to upper-level health organizations.
able to get informed on adult sexual health and reproductive health issues and learn the referral of patients to the higher centers.
able to gather information and inform the public about organ donation and kidney transplantation.
able to get history that has specific details of urological diseases from patients and their relatives.
able to make physical examination for the frequently seen urological disorders from patients.
able to make the first intervention in situations that require primary care medicine and plans for the next step.

Aim(s) of Course : It is aimed to learn surgical diseases of genitourinary system in adult and pediatric patients, and etiopathogenesis and clinical manifestations of the diseases, and to acquire proficiency in the diagnosis of these diseases, and will understand the basic principles of urologic patient care and consultation.
