Aim(s) of Course : The main purpose of this course is to evaluate critacally social studies textbooks and curriculum approved by the Ministry of National Education.

Course Contents : The investigation of text books accepted by Ministry of National Education and curriculum with a critical point of view. Investigating textbooks from the point of content, language, ideologie, convenience of student level, attractiveness, contribution to meaninful learning, and usefullness in teaching.
