Aim(s) of Course : To teach tissue culture techniques which can be used in breeding of field crops

Course Contents : This lesson contains folliwing topics: tissue culture laboratory and its organization, components of the nutrient medium for tissue culture, chemical used, properties of the chemicals used in tissues culture, solution preparation techniques in tissue culture, techniques of sterilization in tissues culture, techniques of medium preparation, techniques of meristem, callus, cell and protoplast cultures, techniques of obtaining haploid planst in vtro, somaclonal variation and somaic hybridization
