Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learns how to reach the field-related resources published in Turkish or in any foreign languages.
Reaches and examines resources related to thesis.
Determines which subject has not been studied and need to be studied in the field.
Determines the thesis topic.
Investigates related resources related to research topic.
As a result of examining the related literature, determines variables to be investigated in thesis topic.
Identifies a research problem
Writes the introduction section of the thesis by using books, articles etc. related to the research problem.
Determines research methods to be used to investigate the research problem.
Conducts a pilot study before the main study.
Asks for the academic advisor´s help in the process of preparing the thesis.

Aim(s) of Course : The main purpose of this course is to help students examine the literature related to thesis subject to be studied, and identify variables of thesis subject and research methods to be used. This course also aims to provide scientific guidance for students and support them during the process of preparing their thesis.

Course Contents : Subject of the thesis, related literature, related variables, appropriate research methods, sample selection, analysis of data and the writing process of the thesis.
