Realizes the methods of reproduction of ornamental plants. Learns the properties of materials in the production of ornamental plants and the preparation of propagation materials. Realizes the problems of cultivation and propagation of ornamental plants and solve problems. Knows how to use the knowledge s/he has acquired about propagation and production of ornamental plants
in other fields.

This course aims to to teach the basic concepts and subjects on ornamental plants propagation. |

Course Contents |

The contents of this course include introduction to ornamental plants production structures, the preparation procedure, production media (perlite, vermiculite, peat) production materials (seed, spor, cuttings, grafting, storage organs) and propagation methods (cuttings, grafting, layering, division, storage organs and tissue culture production). |
