Learning Outcomes of the Course : Knows the nature of plant, vegetation changes, fluctuations, the cyclical changes, the changes caused by grazing animals, the methods used and the types of succession.

Aim(s) of Course : Teach the principles and research methods related to dynamic properties of vegetation.

Course Contents : The nature of vegetation, processes of vegetation change, initiation of successions and fluctuations, immigration of species, establishment, competition, site modification, stabilization, definitions of vegetation change, phenological changes, changes with fluctuations in environment, climax theories, primary succession, secondary succession. Field trips relation to above the subjects.
