Aim(s) of Course : Understands the relationship between nutrition and digestion

Course Contents : Dıgestıon and Nutrition in insect; Nutritional requirements,Dietary requirements (Carbohytrates,Amino acids,Lipids,vitamins and inorganic salts),the structure of dıgestıve system,extra-intestinal dıgestıon,Internal dıgestıon,enzyme activity,control of enzyme secretıon,Absorbtion and efficiency of food utilisation. The role of lower organisms in dıgestion.
