Aim(s) of Course : To give basic information to gardeners on water econmy and environmental adaptation of crop plants.

Course Contents : The structure of stoma, physiological stoma movement, effects of CO2 concentration on stoma opening, reaction of stoma for light and some other factors. Photosynthetic products in protective cells, stoma-sugar hypothesis, permeability hypothesis, the role of transpiration.
