Aim(s) of Course : To get students understand the formation and evolution of the plastic arts of Middle Ages and Early Modern by their social, intellectual, political, and economic dimensions.

Course Contents : Byzantine Art, Roman Art, Gothic Art, Pre-Renaissance, Early Renaissance, High Renaissance, Central and Northern European countries, The Art of the Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque Art
