Has a competent hearing with the knowledge of solfege he has acquired. Has compherensive knowledge about the music style and the forms of polyphony. Related to his own field, the student has a compherensive knowledge about the repertoire that takes place in the historical development of music. Gains an excellent ability to decipher the musical works of art. Gains the knowledge and ability to notate the works of art he has listened. Gains ability to vocalize (sing) the studies he has done related to his own field. Gains ability to sing the works of art according to musical dynamics. Gains the ability of singing the works of art which are in different style, genre and culture.

Aim(s) of Course |
: |
The aim is to help students gain a high quality of hearing in order to have a competent hearing in their professional life. The students are required to do solfege practices that consist of one, two, or three voiced baroque, classical and romantic repertoire proceeding systematically. |

Course Contents |
: |
Basic knowledge of music: Music, spaces, beat. Occurrence of major and minor intervals. Ear training exercises. Slight singing exercises with simple songs. The use of the vocal organs and anatomy. Singing in harmony as Solo and chorus . Simple exercises for solo melodies singing with piano accompaniment. |
