Gains theorical and practical knowledge in post-harvest physiology Gains the acquired ability to practise on how to direct technical and cultural applications related to the postharvest physiological and chemical changes in horticultural products. Gets information about the methods which can be used theoretically and practically to try in user research. Gains the ability on how to transfer research findings and to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice. Develops methods about the solutions to the problems which are seen during storage.

In this course, storage facilities for fruit and vegetables, the important considerations on establishing storage facilities, the cooling and pre-cooling techniques that are applied in storage facilities, and examples for these in Turkey and the world.
