Aim(s) of Course : To introduce the types and attributes of foreign capital and direct foreign investments; to explain direct and indirect investments and their effects.

Course Contents : Direct foreign capital investments: Concepts and Definitions, The definition and types of capital, International Portfolio Investments, Direct Foreign Capital Investments, The determinants of direct foreign capital investments, The motives of direct foreign capital investments, The general economic impacts and the importance of direct foreign capital investments, The impacts of DFCI (direct foreign capital investments) in terms of the country it is invested from and the impacts of DFCI to the country it is invested to, The policies concerning direct foreign capital investmens, DFCI and its policies in developing coutries, DFCI and its policies in developed coutries
