Learning Outcomes of the Course : Knows the general properties and the regulating systems of endocrine system.
Tells the structural properties of the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland and endocrine pancreas.
Distinguishes pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands and endocrine pancreas under light microscope.
Knows the structural properties of the male reproductive system.
Knows the structural properties of the female reproductive system.
Identifies the reproductive system organs at the light microscopic level.
Searches about the course issue using up-to-date sources and tells efficiently using oral-visual methods.

Aim(s) of Course : Aim of this course is to make the students gain the knowledge about the histological features of the structures and the organs which constitute the neuroendocrin and reproductive systems and distinguish them at light microscopic level.

Course Contents : General features of endocrine system, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland and endocrine pancreas, male reproductive system, female reproductive system
