Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Explains the importance of the issues covered by the environmental health and their role in health care; and has sufficient experience to carry out preventive care Cooperates with relevant agencies and organizations in the field of environmental health, plans environmental health education programs, directs them amd cooperates with other related disciplines Knows the importance of tap and city water for human health, performs physical, chemical and bacteriological examination of the water, determines the level of chlorine in the water and interprets it, and disinfects water Renders harmless human feces and urine, knows their importance in the context of human health Lists healthy housing conditions, knows the role of sheltering for meeting physiological and psychological needs of people and the role of stopping infectious diseases; and takes precautions in need Knows the importance of vector control and effects of the pesticides, the noise and air-pollution on human health, take precautions against air pollution Knows the importance of food-control in the context of human health, collects food-samples for physical, chemical and bacteriological investigation of the aliments, evaluates the results and takes precautions Manages waste disposals, performs legal regulations, knows solid wastes´ types and features, removes their adverse effects on human health
