Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to enable students to: Understand authentic conversations in English; Attain fluency in conversing in English, Develop various conversational styles, and Improve their background knowledge by exposing them to real-life audio, video and written material.

Course Contents : Communication-oriented speaking such as discussions, individual presentations and other interactive tasks; formal and informal language; informative and persuasive presentations; supra-segmental features (pitch, stress and intonation); use of audiovisual aids (OHP, power point, posters) and techniques.
