Aim(s) of Course : Gathering information on transcription, analysis and criticism of old texts with the help of articles and sample texts related to Divan literature

Course Contents : Studies on Divan Literature.Methods and schools utilized in Divan Literature studies. Divan Literature studies with themes of aesthetic and social life. 15-19th century Divan and Divançes. The fmistakes in transcription of turkish texts´ with arabic character. Suggestions on critical texts, need to be considered in the preparation of critical texts. Text criticism of the difficulties encountered. Divan Literature analysis studies. Examples of text analysis and text analysis work. The review and evaluations for text analysis. Text criticism and analysis of studies concerning the examination of similarities and differences. Evaluation of the different methods in the field of Divan Literature.
