Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learn cultural and physical control methods developed against cotton insect pests, principles for pest control and integration of control tactics
Comprehend the interactions between cotton plant and pests
Know the cultural and biological control methods of main cotton insect pests

Aim(s) of Course : The main objective of this course is to understand the spesific problems and suitable management tactics in terms of suppression or diminish losses caused by pests in the cotton agroecosystem including philosophy and approaches

Course Contents : Within this lecture, orientation, organization and controlling the production of fiber plants will be discussed. With this objective, the ways of protection of agroecosystem stability in which plant is grown through coordination of interactive production components with pest control will be addressed
