Aim(s) of Course : The purpose of this course is to give basic information on the cytological and cytogenetical characteristics of forage crops

Course Contents : This course deals with the subjects on the forage crops such as karyotype analysis and phylogeny, chromosome numbers, accessory, supernumerary and B- chromosomes, polyploidy, aneuploidy meiosis, interspesific and intergeneric hybridization, inheritance of quantitative and qualitative characters, variations in natural populations and apomixis
