Aim(s) of Course : To teach students Genome analysis methods, polymerase chain reaction mechanism and optimization, DNA isolation, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of PCR products, how to prepare and paint solutions and gels, QF-PCR method, how to analyse and interpret the results of PCR and QF-PCR, PCR sorts, real time PCR method and practices, blotting techniques, application fields (PCR RLFP, Sequencing analysis, gene cloning).

Course Contents : Genome analysis methods, polymerase chain reaction mechanism and optimization, DNA isolation, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of PCR products, preparing and painting solutions and gels, QF PCRT method, analysis and consideration of PCR and QF PCR results, PCR sorts and application fields ( mutation scanning, PCR-RFLP, sequencing analysis, gene cloning), Real time PCR method and applications, blotting methods
