Gives information about the benthic region and the sub-zones.
Explains the definition of benthology and principles of classification
Learns marine benthic communities
Interprets benthos and their relationship with habitat
Learns qualitative analysis techniques of benthos

Aim(s) of Course : Benthic zone and the classification of benthos; general anatomical and morphological features of benthic organisms. The bio-ecological features of benthic groups and the sampling procedures of benthos.
