Aim(s) of Course : This course is designed to explore the concept of curriculum and its various meaning, to review the history of curriculum development and its development as a discipline, to acquaint the student with some of the current controversies and trends in the field, and to introduce the student to many different methods and approaches to curriculum.

Course Contents : The content of this course consists of the following topics: Principles of Curriculum Development Curriculum Planning Models of Curriculum Development Philosophy and aims of Education Needs Assessment Curriculum Goals and Objectives Organizing and Implementing the Curriculum Curriculum and Instruction Evaluating the Curriculum
