Aim(s) of Course : The aim of the course is to provide student a general information on recirculation, to extend their knowledge on general design of the RAS, to add information about environmental friendly systems (recirculation and integrated systems).

Course Contents : Description of recirculation and integrated systems; basic rules and their application, Why recirculation and integrated systems; basic criteria for both system; freshwater and sea water systems; design of the recirculation systems; operation and water control; Biology of the bio-filter bacteria; environmental friendly systems; general energy systems; water quality budgets.
