Learning Outcomes of the Course : Know optimization and related concepts
Know optimization technics.
Know the selection of optimum mining method.
Solve some optimization problems such as determination of open pit limits, optimization of hauling path, determination of cut of grade and production rate.

Aim(s) of Course : To give sufficent knowledge about optization and optimization technics, to teach optimizing of some mining problems.

Course Contents : Selection method in open pit mining, determination of boundary of open pit mines by dynamic programming technics, optimization of hauling path, determination of cut of grade and production rate, determination of short and long term production planning.
