Learning Outcomes of the Course : to be able to know similar and distinguishing characteristics of farms and non-farm enterprises
Estimating costs of annual and multiyear agricultural commodities employing various assumptions and approaches
Understanding conditions causing financial requirements in agriculture
Main and auxilary marketing services, differentiating various types of markets
Understanding basic principles of agricultural policy, estimating consumer and producer surplus

Aim(s) of Course : Acquiring knowledge which will facilitate to understand more advanced level courses in agricultural economics (for students completed their undegraduate level education in departments other than agricultural economics)

Course Contents : Fundamentals of farm management, introduction to cost estimation for agricultural commodities, foundations of agricultural finance, agricultural markets, agricultural policy
