Aim(s) of Course : To have students comprehend that; basic principles of organic agriculture, economical and structural differeneces between organic and conventional agriculture and show how to evaluate Turkey’s cultivation potential

Course Contents : History, concept and basic principles of Organic Agriculture, economy, environment, and sustainability features of organic agriculture. size, control and certification of organic commodities, organic production and economy, legal practices and standards, organic and conventional agricultural production, marketing of organic commodities, economic comprasions of organic agriculture, supply and demand of organic commodities,organic commodities and marketing margins, marketing channels, consumer preferences and price formation, marketing research of organic commodities manufacturing and marketing cooperative of organic commodities unity and development of organic agriculture information, other manufacturer organizations, publishing, education and research facilities, policies for organic agricultural commodities
