Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understands the communication process based on meaning in the physical environment.
Defines elements that convey meaning in the housing
Knows semantic parameters belong to relationship between residence and users.
Specifies the semantic levels in different user profiles and housing types.
Semantically analyzes residential areas.
Follows scientific works and makes comments.

Aim(s) of Course : To provide a different approach to home and user relationship with the assumption as a tool of social communication rather than becoming a functional element which provides accommodation of home. In this context,lecture aims nonverbal communication based on home and user relationship, signs which belong to user indoor and outdoor of home, messages conveyed with close environment of home, various and different type of messages which change and diversify around home environment.

Course Contents : Nonverbal communication in the home and user relationship, signs and symbols in close home environment, conveyed mesagges of home with close environment, signification process.
