Digitize landscapes in terms of composition

Converts the information acquired from landscape metrics into resource planning as an input

Aim(s) of Course : aims to define landscapes by using point, linear network, surface and thematic pattern types , and provides information about the numerical representation with the help of patch, class and landscape-level metrics.

Course Contents : Definitions for landscape and landscape ecology. Introduction to landscape structure metrics. composition metrics. proportional abundance and diversity metrics. area size distribution and density. spatial configuration metrics. core area, isolation, proxiimity, contrast, etc. structural and functional metrics. interpretation of metric calculations. important considerations for pattern metrics. incorporating analysis results into landscape planning. landscaping research with the ladscapig ecology . samples.
