Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learns the relationship between author-text and reader which are the basic elements of literary communication.
Understands the basic elements of the narrative.
Has the ability to determine the correct features of the text to find out what type the text belongs to

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to help the students have the knowledge and ability to analyze the main structures that identify a text, do practical studies on different text types after examining text analysis methods theoretically.

Course Contents : This course consists of literary terms and their meanings, the main features of the text, literary communication, text types, enunciation and enunciation theory, discourse-narrative differences, the main components of the narrative, analysis of narrative persona, studies on analyzing space and time in narrative .
