Understands the importance of grammar in foreign language teaching. Understands the relationship between form and function of the language. Understands the associations of grammar teaching and learning after a previously learned foreign language and mother tongue. Distinguishes and applies grammatical categories that can form a basis for teaching / learning a foreign language. Predicts individual distinctiveness of the foreign language learner in grammar teaching. Understands the need for pedagogical way of thinking and understanding in grammar teaching. Develops grammar teaching / learning methods and strategies.
