Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understands the importance of the acquisition of translation
Obtains General Translation Methods
Follows the steps in which students apply the translation
Explains the text through linguistic and semantic interpratation.
Compares the translation texts with other text types and finds the most appropriate text type through critical brainstorming.
Gains the ability of oral translation in addition to written translation from German to Turkish

Aim(s) of Course : Students will gain the ability to translate different types of texts from German to Turkish. In this context they need to translate the authentic text types like newspaper and magazines (mainly cultural texts)

Course Contents : This course includes converting fairy tales, poems, short stories, or short texts into play as a continuation of the third and fifth terms.
