Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to introduce the fluctuations in short-term and long-term trend of economic growth, unemployment, inflation, the basic macroeconomic approaches of public and external deficits , economic policy objectives and to define the economic policy tools relevant to these goals.

Course Contents : This course consists of the definition and concepts of economic policy, economic policy and public institutions, economic policy and international organizations, the purpose and objectives of economic policy , economic policy tools, decision-making methods, alternative approaches to economic policy, Classical, Keynesian, monetarist, New Classical, New Keynesian.
