The aim of this course is to analyze several approaches of the concept of being in peripatetism started by Aristotle, and reaching to Heidegger through philosophers, systems, and religions. |

Meaning of the words ´being´ and ´essence´, Aristotle´s opinion of being and his outlook on the universe; Islamic philosopher´s opinions of being, forming the opinion of God, the universe and human being through Descartes, Locke, Hume, Kant and Heidegger´s opinion of being. |
