Learning Outcomes of the Course : Distinguishes the common and different aspects in the purposes of religious education in formal and non-formal educational institutions.
Evaluates the purposes, reasons and qualities of religious education at places such as schools, mosques, prisons.
Recognizes the main places and tools for religious education.
Describes materials and methods that can be used in formal and non-formal religious education.
Evaluates the general principles of religious education that should be considered

Aim(s) of Course : The course aims to examine application areas of religious education in formal and non-formal areas.

Course Contents : The course covers religious education in the formal and non-formal learning environments such as schools, mosques , Quran schools and family: foundations of religious education,teaching methods, program development and preparation of teaching materials.
