Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Obtains information on Judaism at a professional level. Recognizes local and foreign sources. Studies Jewish history and theology through original sources. Uses various methods applied in Religious Sciences in order to understand and explain Judaism better. In addition to his use of information technology in order to reach the right and sufficient information, he goes on studying in the west and Israel . Evaluates Jewish creeds and practices systematically. Cooperates with the right people and institutions. Compares Jewish theology with theology of other Semitic religions.

This lesson aims to give profound information about Judaism, its birth, development, alteration and historical periods. It also aims to provide the students with the ability to absorb information on Jewish history and creeds, to learn Jewish idea of religion and the world, also to learn and evaluate other religions.
