Gains profound information about the emergence and development of Christianity Identifies the relationship between Christianity and Byzantine Empire Gains general knowledge about the sects of Christianity Analyzes the debates on God, Jesus, Holy Ghost and Mary Discerns the modern interpretations of Christianity Distinguishes between the basic concepts of Christianity such as Hamartiology, Original Sin, Fall of Man and Total Depravity Obtains information about Soteriolgy: Traditional (Catholic) and Distinct Schools Has the ability to interpret major religious trends during Jesus’ era within the context of the era’s feautres. Evaluates the effects of Constantin era and the letter of Milan on Christianity. Interprets the theological debates and the decisions that were taken mainly in İznik Council and other councils. Has the ability to make comparisons between Christian sects; mainly Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant sects
