Apprehend the roles and the responsibilities of the teacher in education and instruction.

Aim(s) of Course : To generate a general understanding about the relationships between the basic concepts of education, teaching profession, education and other institutions.

Course Contents : Basic concepts of education, teaching profession and professionalisation conditions, school and classroom environment, foundations of education, new trends in the twenty-first century, mass communication and education, the problems of Turkish education system
