Learning Outcomes of the Course : Is able to read and understand the Turkish texts which are written with Arabic letters.
Is able to read classic Turkish poems with aruz rhythm easily.
Knows the kinds of mesnevis with it´s examles in Turkish literature.
Is able to compare the mesnevis to narrative types of today.
Knows Hüsn ü Aşk mesnevi, can assess the mesnevi with literary view point.
Is able to compare the old narrations and new narrations.

Aim(s) of Course : To introduce the important mesnevis like İlâhî-nâme, Hayrâbâd, Hüsn ü Aşk and their analysis. To learn kinds of mesnevi, their comparisons. To gain an ability of reading and understanding of mesnevis.

Course Contents : Reading and understanding important mesnevis and comparing them.
