Aim(s) of Course : To teach literary movements emerged in Western literatures

Course Contents : Can provide information about the concept of the literary movement. Can explain the reasons for the emergence of literary movements in the West. Gives information about symbolism. Can explain the reasons for the emergence of the modernist novel , the reasons for the emergence of surrealism, characteristics, their representatives. Can provide information about Modernist techniques. Can provide information about the features of postmodern literature and Postmodernism
