Knows the term Old Turkish and what the term entails. Knows the historical, political and cultural conditions that formed the written language of Orkhon Turkish. Recognizes the alphabet used in the Orkhon Turkish Period. Recognizes texts written in Orchon Turkish and knows their characteristics. Knows about the discovery of Orkhon Turkish texts and the studies on the texts. Understands the characteristics of the language properties of Orkhon Turkish. Knows the syntax of texts written in Orkhon Turkish. Is able to compare the features of Orkhon Turkish with other periods and fields.

Old Turkish, Orkhon Turkic (Kokturkish), Uyghur definitions, scope and general characteristics of the era, I. and II. Eastern Turkey (Köktürk) Khanate (the era of Terms, geography, political and administrative structure of the state, communities and belief systems that make up Khanate), Orkhon inscriptions and inscriptions studies on the discovery, Old Turkish Overview of work in general, references to the old Turkish and Turkish in Orkhon, Orkhon Turkic (Kokturkish) texts used in scripts , the alphabet, their opinions on the origin of the alphabet. The phonology, morphology and syntax of Orkhon Turkish based on the Southern side of the Kul-Tigin inscription, the phonology, morphology and syntax of Orkhon Turkish based on the Tonyukuk inscription, the phonology, morphology and syntax of Orkhon Turkish based on the Choyr and Kül İç Chor inscriptions, the phonology, morphology and syntax of Orkhon Turkish based on the Ongin inscriptions.
